Final Hand In Proposal...

Here it is, my final proposal for my final images I will be finally handing in.

My idea that I will be submitting looks at how we use emoticons through chat on social media websites and also on chat programs such as Skype and MSN. We use these to a degree that the person we are talking to can justify how we are feeling by a single icon. This is an indication to our emotions towards a sentence or word that is being displayed between the two or more people. As we are so familiar with this it is an everyday thing to see. It has come to the point that we just about hide behind these and let people determine the scale to which our happiness or anger is at
... "digital identity".

My images use this idea and combine it with everyday life. My series looks at a person walking through a public area in a city and how they are feeling in a certain situation.
-The first image is of them in a normal everyday environment to them which is propelling no particular emotions.
-The second image has them sitting in front of a certain fast food outlet with a delicious burger in their hands, verging on to eating it. This emotion portrays a happy face which is indicating the mood they are in, letting the viewer to determine how happy they actually are about having a nice tasty burger to eat.
-The third image has the person at a position where they have just dropped the burger on the ground and are angry. Again this level of anger is to be determined by the viewer as emoticons only indicate the type of emotion.
-The forth image has the person walking down the street unhappy about their resent dilemma.
