Emoti Masks

I have started to move away from the social mask idea and am now looking at how people use emoticons in social media and chat programs on the computer. We use these to express how we want someone else to see how we feel towards a comment we have typed or they have typed. It is the closest to showing an image of our emotions to that person to actually sending them a photo.

The emot'icon' is an icon which most people who use computers familiarise with towards other people. It represents many feelings that can be portrayed. When we see these we automatically match it to the comment and from that comment, can possibly determine what scale they are towards that certain emoticon sent.

eg. If someone was talking about how they won the lotto and they used the happy face emoticon, then it would be easy to determine that they are very happy, compared to someone who says "i had a really nice chocolate cake today". The use of the emoticon is just there to indicate the basics but it is how we initially indicate how we feel, along with extra information.

Here I have tested out how it would look in a couple of images (with no particular situation effecting the emotion).
